Entries Due:  02/09/2026 6:00 PM. Email to entries@swimhurricanes.com.  All entries must be accompanied by a proof of times report and must have all bonus swims clearly marked. (TU users are cautioned that the software does not reliably transfer Bonus swim indicators to Hytek.) Swimmers achieving a qualifying time standard the weekend of Feb. 13-15, may send updated entries no later than 2/16/2026 at 6:00 pm. See Meet Information above for full entry rules. Coach Check In: Help us expedite team check-in by pre-registering HERE. Please have each coach attending complete this form so we can have heat sheets and wristbands ready for the weekend! This form also has a place to add additional coaches or team admins to the email list for this meet. The building will open at 7:30 AM Fri/Sat/Sun for COACHES and OFFICIALS. 


Officials:  The Columbus Aquatic Club welcomes visiting officials and apprentices and will appreciate hep in officiating this competition.  Application to Officiate


Volunteers:  It's not a swim meet without a whole lot of Timers!  Volunteers are always appreciated! We will be holding drawings for $100 Gift Certificates to Reddiset throughout the weekend for our volunteers!   • Facility Policies & Hours:

    The Columbus Aquatic Center will open for COACHES and OFFICIALS 1 hour before warmups due to facility staffing requirements. ATHLETES and SPECTATORS may enter 30 minutes before warmups. For your comfort, we encourage attendees to wait in their vehicles until this time. 


    Parents should also note that the Columbus Aquatic Center maintains a closed pool deck, in compliance with USA Swimming policies. Only swimmers, coaches and officials may enter the pool deck. Locker rooms are reserved for youth athletes.  Coaches and Officials should be prepared to show USAS credentials when they enter the pool deck and will be issued wrist bands at the Clerk of Course table.


    To protect deck space and walk ways, only coaches are allowed to bring a folding chair. Athletes & teams are asked to be considerate of their team area. Messy food items such as chips, chocolate, colored beverages should be consumed in the hallway. 

  • Parking:

    **We encourage carpooling during Friday Prelim Sessions as the city offices and schools are open.


    Parking Lots/Availability:

    • City Garage:  1st Floor Reserved for City Employees Friday 7am-5:30
    • Rainey McCullers School of the Arts:  Reserved for school/school events Friday and Saturday. Lot is open for Meet attendees on Sunday.
    • Adjacent City Lots: Available All Weekend
    • Boxwood Drive Gravel Lot: Available All Weekend
    • Midtown Shopping Center: Available All weekend.

    To help plan your pool arrivals, morning traffic around the schools is heaviest between 7:15-7:45am  & 8:45-9:15am,  and afternoon traffic is the heaviest between 2:00-2:30pm &  3:45-4:30pm.


    Handicapped Parking: A limited number of handicapped parking spaces are available in the parking garage. We encourage you to use the athlete/handicapped drop off circle when possible. 


    Parking Enforcement: Attendees are reminded to obey all parking signage and restrictions - vehicles parked illegally may be ticketed and/or towed by the city.  

  • Spectators:

    Spectator seating is available on the second floor (Capacity 900) and offers good views of the competition pool throughout the facility. Folding chairs are not permitted in the lobby or in spectator seating. All seating and facilities are indoors, however spectators and teams are allowed to set up tents and chairs in designated areas outside the facility. (See parking map above for tent areas.) Restroom facilities are available for spectators on the second floor. (The first floor locker rooms are reserved for athletes and the deck restrooms are reserved for adult officials and volunteers, in accordance with USA Swimming Safe Sport practices.) An elevator for handicapped accessibility is located in the main lobby and handicapped seating is available in the second floor spectator area. Limited Concessions are available on site. 

  • Volunteers:

    The Columbus Aquatic Club welcomes volunteers! We will be celebrating our volunteers with giveaways throughout the weekend.   • Application to Officiate:

    Visiting officials and apprentices are welcome and appreciated.  Evaluations for N2 (all positions) and N3 Stroke & Turn are available.  Please complete the Application to Officiate.


    Shirts are availabe to those who apply by Feb 1. 

  • Inclement Weather Plan:

    Competition will continue during routine weather events, as determined by the Meet Host. Extreme storm activity in the immediate area, power outages, tornado warnings or similar, will result in a delay of meet, consistent with facility policies.
