At the Columbus Aquatic Club we remain dedicated to developing not just the individual athlete but the total person.  Assisting our coaches in this endeavor is a team of tireless and dedicated parent-volunteers.  In addition to unique experience and individual perspective, each director maintains responsibility for and is accountable for a major division within the team’s operational framework.  In addition to dedicating time and effort to club administration, directors may also serve as Certified USA-Swimming Officials.  Our directors abide by the standards and practices set forth for club administration, governance, and operation by the Club Development Division of USA Swimming.

President—Shirley Olsen

 Shirley Olsen currently serves on the Columbus Aquatic Club Board of Directors as the President.  Her son Greg—a GA Swimming All-Star and former All-Bi-City Athlete of the Year—is a member of Senior 1 and has previously swum as a member of the Columbus Hurricanes Swim Team’s Developmental and Age Group programs.  Shirley’s daughter Amanda (alumni) is a Columbus Hurricanes Swim Team record holder and has continued her athletic career in the NCAA with LaGrange College Swimming.

Membership Director—Amy Davis

 Amy Davis currently serves on the Columbus Aquatic Club Board of Directors as the Membership Director.  Her son Luke is a member of the Swim Dogs and has previously swum with the Aqua Pups, Olympic Strokes and the CSL Tiger Sharks.  Amy served on the Board of Directors for the Russell County Humane Society and is currently a Children’s Program Co-Coordinator at Golden Acres Baptist Church.

 Secretary—Sade Olubowale

 Sade Olubowale currently serves on the Columbus Aquatic Club Board of Directors as the Secretary.  Her daughter Molade—a GA Swimming All-Star and former State Champion—is a member of Junior 1 and has previously swum with the Swim Dogs and the Aqua Pups

 Treasurer—Jeffrey Johnson

 Jeffrey Johnson currently serves on the Columbus Aquatic Club Board of Directors as the Treasurer.  His son Jared is a member of the Swim Dogs and has previously swum with the Aqua Pups and the Olympic Strokes.  Jeffrey Johnson serves as a treasurer for multiple church and civic organizations.
