We are a year-round US Masters Swimming member-team, for both competitive and non-competitive adult (18+) swimmers, triathletes and general fitness enthusiasts; one of two component teams of the Columbus Aquatic Club, Inc.

Our mission is to facilitate social, training and competitive opportunities in order to develop not just the athlete but the total person by allowing adults of any ability level to realize personal aspirations in and through the sport of swimming.

 We offer a local gateway to participation in USMS-approved practice sessions and USMS-sanctioned events, as well as individual skill development and training for competitive swimming through daily practice sessions under professional coach supervision.

Hurricane Masters in the Headlines

Check out both Sally Bradley (Hurricane Masters Swim Team) and Ginny Daniels (Hurricane parent—Morgan Daniels JR2).  Photos and an in-depth interview with Bradley comprise the feature article for the January/February issue of USMS’s Swimmer magazine after Bradley became the 50,000th athlete to register with US Masters Swimming last year.  Long-time Masters swimmer, coach, and Swimmer contributor Jim Harper interviewed Sally and wrote the article, while our own Daniels—GB Daniels Photography—produced all accompanying photographs.  Congratulations to you both, and thank you for making the Hurricanes look great!  This issue of Swimmer hit mailboxes in January 2010. Online version
